On a daily basis we unintentionally expose our skin to damage from sun exposure, air conditioning, pollutants and chemicals in the air as well as in the water we drink, swim and/or bathe in. Our stressful pace of life and subsequent caffeine, alcohol and fast food intake along with a chronic lack of sleep for a large number of Australians, all add strain to our precious skin, the body’s largest organ.
With the cold weather well and truly here there is nothing more comforting than knowing dry lips, cracked heels, skin irritations and much more can potentially be avoided with the use of Boho Balm.
Say goodbye to harmful lotions and balms. Boho Balm is 100% Australian made and owned.
Many products on our shelves today contain parabens, synthetic fragrances and petroleum based ingredients which can cause damage to our skin. Boho Balm is a 100% natural balm. Made with Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Australian Beeswax and Honey, this product also smells good enough to eat.

What is in Boho Balm to make it so natural?
BOHO stands for Beeswax, Olive Oil, Honey and Coconut Oil.
Beeswax is a natural, non-toxic wax that is produced by honey bees in their hives. It’s formed from fatty acids and long chain alcohols along with oleate esters, hydroxypalmitate, palmitate and palmitoleate which can aid in maintaining skin texture and health. The rich Vitamin A content can assist in stimulating the production and development of skin cells. When applied to the skin it locks in moisture by forming a protective barrier against environmental irritants and dangers whilst allowing the skin to breathe so you won’t experience clogged pores. Beeswax has powerful anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergenic, antiseptic and anti-oxidant properties.
Olive Oil contains Vitamins E and A, polyphenols, phytosterols, squalene acid and oleic acids. The Vitamin E, polyphenols and phytosterols are powerful, anti-aging antioxidants whilst the hydrating squalene acid and oleic acids work hard to help to get rid of free radicals and can assist in the repair of skin damage. With a high Vitamin E and A content, Olive Oil helps to tone, repair, refresh and hydrate the skin, maintain elasticity and softness and can also assist in the regeneration of skin cells.
Honey is a natural humectant. This means that it draws moisture from the air into the skin, and ensures it is retained in the layers of the skin which are most in need, to ensure lasting hydration. Honey is suitable for use on all skin types as it is extremely gentle. It is an incredible product as it can balance oily skin and yet moisturise dry skin. Honey contains phytonutrient antioxidants and enzymes which clarifies the skin, cleanses pores, fights aging and prevents bacterial build up. It has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and probiotic properties.
Coconut Oil is a plant based oil which is naturally antibacterial and anti-fungal and is an excellent hydrator. It contains triglycerides, which are found in your natural skin oils, that will keep your skin smooth when applied topically. It also contains the fatty acids; Capric, Caprylic and Lauric which have strong disinfectant and anti-microbial properties. These fatty acids could aid in the reduction of inflammation. The Vitamin E content is essential for healthy skin growth and repairing damaged skin. Coconut Oil is very gentle but is equally capable of clearing away dirt, grime and dead cells from your skin.
